The Government approved (BOPA 81/21) the Regulations governing the use of automated external defibrillators by semiautomatic and non health that aims to regulate the use of defibrillators and establish their requirements, training requirements, conditions for installing them, and the creation of administrative records necessary to implement the regulation, since the majority of non-traumatic sudden deaths are due to ischemic heart disease that cause lethal cardiac arrhythmias. Before a person suffering a cardiac arrest measures are most effective early implementation of a series of actions such as activating the emergency system, the performance of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation, defibrillation, and early specialized medical care.

Regulation of occupational diseases

The Government approved (BOPA 81/21) the Regulation establishing the list of occupational diseases and the procedure for acknowledgment , detailing all diseases in developing the provision that is contained in Law 17/2008 social security , occupational diseases list classifies into six groups: diseases caused by chemicals, skin diseases caused by other substances or agents, diseases caused by inhaling substances or other agents, infectious or parasitic diseases caused for physical agents. This list is updated periodically whenever scientifically proven that a given disease may have originated in the profession. People who suffer an occupational disease are entitled to specific performance that gives the Social Security Act, therefore, should regulate the procedure for reporting and recognizing occupational disease.
The list of occupational diseases classified into six groups: diseases caused by chemicals, skin diseases caused by other substances or agents, diseases caused by inhaling substances or other agents, infectious or parasitic diseases caused by physical agents.

Revised text of the articles of the General Health Law

By Decree the Government has approved the revised text of the articles of the General Health Law that incorporates all modifications, additions and clarifications provided by the Law 1/2009, January 23, according BOPA published today ( 63/31), in monitoring enabling legislation is contained in the first final provision of Law 1/2009 of 23 January amending the General Health Law, 20 March 1989, which establishes a legislative delegation for the government to within three (3) months from the date of entry into force of the law published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra, with the corresponding decree, the text of the articles of this law, the incorporation of all modifications, additions and clarifications provided by the Act.
