The Observatory of Andorra for the first half of 2010 published last week by the Center for Sociological Research, highlights the importance of the effects of the economic crisis in our society has become, by far the main concern of citizens of Andorra
But the thoughts that are mostly about the crisis are on the same crisis that will last, its intensity, its causes, what sectors will be hardest hit ... what keeps increasing the negative psychological effect on economic situation, in that we are unable to provide proposals to overcome its effects. Only a few reflections on how the situation will be after the crisis, as I have changed our environment, and what to do, not only to survive the crisis, but especially to be competitive in the new paradigm.
Factors of competitiveness on the day of the crisis are not the same the day before going out, especially in Andorra that structural changes have yet to do for years, then must face new elements such as the internationalization of transcendental our economic activity or a new tax model, to give two examples. In the coming years our economy will be different as it was only a couple of years, and therefore the main challenge facing us is how we prepare to adapt to new factors of competitiveness, because the traditional mechanisms that do not know who will ensure progress for future generations.
We need to tackle the crisis as an opportunity, a challenge in improving our competitiveness, how to take this situation to be in the best conditions in the new scenario is drawn. The challenge is both individual and collective, we need a situation of stability and joining forces to face a situation like that for years had not. The set of political and civil society has to find the best of itself to ensure the future. There needs to provide the best of each of us, now more than ever is the time of maximum "good work has no boundaries," needed to improve the competitiveness and quality of a constant in our actions. We need to find the success that the situation requires.
The individual contribution of each of us is no less, and not least the individual in the collective challenge we face. When we asked the best contribution of each of us from each of our professional activities, then the only prescription is secured against the crisis to be proactive, rather expect solutions for them, working from now to the day after the crisis, to provide the best tools and ability to innovate and meet the challenge with the best of the belief that the future is ours.
