Digest
We are preparing the content of this page regarding the Digest ... ... ..
The Digest is probably the biggest influence has had on Western culture after the Bible, as countless generations of lawyers has been formed to study and its contents have shaped the modern European legal systems, which makes over its full effect.
The Digest is essentially an anthology of classic writings of jurists, the III century AD Jc, (hence the name of Digest or Greek Pandectas) collection Tribonià mainly carried out by order of Emperor Justinian between 530 and 533 in Constantinople, and includes 9412 pieces ordered in 429 titles, grouped in 50 books, which gives an idea of the grandeur of the work selection and arrangement of all material prepared by lawyers over 300 years, estimated in 1625 books. There stand three lawyers Ulpiano, and JP Papin, with first preference.
